FAQ

What Should I Except ?

During an initial treatment I will take a full consultation asking questions about your condition and general lifestyle. I will also check your tongue and pulse for additional diagnosis.

Afterwards I will form an individualised treatment plan and explain this to you. The needles are normally left in for 30 minutes. Depending on your condition I may additionally use electro-acupuncture, cupping or tuina massage.

*Please wear loose clothing, jogging bottoms, vest tops etc.

Does Acupuncture Hurt?

Acupuncture does not hurt as the needles are so fine, however it is perfectly normal to sometimes feel a slight sensation.

How Many Treatments will I Need?

The number of treatments depends on the conditions being treated, but a course of 4 treatments is the typical recommendation
